At TheThreeWiseMonkeyLLC, we prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of every animal we place. Requiring in-person pickup ensures that your monkey begins its journey to a new home in the most secure and stress-free way possible.

Your baby marmoset will either be picked up in person at my home.

Transported Delivered personally by us. Or you can arrange transport with anotherUSDA-licensed transport If you choose to not have use deliver your baby.

 
During the journey, your monkey will be hand-fed and cared for with the utmost attention until arrival at your home or a pre-agreed location.

Upon delivery, you will receive a full training session (approximately 1 to 1.5 hours) on how to properly care for and feed your baby monkey.

Delivery typically occurs within 7 days after your baby is ready to leave our care at 4 weeks old.

Delivery will depend mainly on when your baby is purchased. This is because I must schedule a visit for there Health check. To ensure they are healthy. All animals sold in the USA must have a health check/ certificate within 10 days of acquisition. (Federal law). 

All animals from our facility come with a USDA Travel Health Certificate, from our licensed USDA

Veterinarian. It will state all my info, the vets and yours.

Including the date of pick up or delivery, Date you will receive said animal, and the where the animal will live.

The exact delivery date and location will be discussed and confirmed in advance

upon receiving full payment and availability of the babies.

For this reason, we do not ship monkeys internationally and only offer limited ground transportation within the U.S. In-person pickup eliminates the risks associated with long-distance transit and ensures a calm, controlled environment for your new companion’s transition.

When you pick up your monkey in person, there’s significantly less documentation required compared to shipping or interstate transport. That means a quicker and smoother process—so you can welcome your baby home sooner.

We use pickup appointments to provide essential information about care routines, diet, socialization, and veterinary needs. You’ll leave with the confidence and knowledge to provide the best possible home.

By meeting in person, we can help ensure that you and your monkey are a great match. You’ll be able to observe temperament and ask questions before finalizing the adoption.

6. Legal and Ethical Compliance

Many exotic animal transfers require detailed documentation and sometimes state-specific permits. In-person pickup allows us to walk you through these steps properly and ensures all regulations are followed to the letter.
